Rehoming

The re-homing service was launched at the shop so that pets that can no longer be looked after by their owners can be found new loving homes.

This service is to help people who have:

· Bought a pet in the past knowing nothing about the animals needs & they had not been given the correct education from the pet shop that sold them it, when they have realized what the animal does need, they cannot provide it.
· Bought a pet and then their circumstances have changed
· Have a pet but can no longer give the animal the care and attention it needs.

Little Beasties does not want to promote the impulse buying of pets with the attitude of “Well when I get bored of it I can get it re-homed” because that it not the attitude to have, we simply want to help people and their pets live happy lives.

If you feel you are one of the bullet points above, please don’t hesitate to contact us, and we will help you wherever we can. If you are interested in re-homing any of the animals below, or would like us to keep your details for further re-homes please contact us.

Cats, Kittens, Dogs & Puppies

If you are interested in rehoming a cat, kitten, dog or puppie please contact the RSPCA Barrow on 01229 824583 or 07726568593 they ask for a £25 donation (for cats)which is very good as your new pet will be fleaed, wormed, microchipped and when its old enough they will pay for it to be neutered!

Pom Pom

Pom Pom is a neutered male Netherland Dwarf rabbit who is about 2 years old.
He came to us through the RSPCA who had a report of a rabbit loose in Barrow, they caught him & brought him to us.
Because he was found we can’t be sure of his age but the vet thinks he is about 2 years old.
He is really tame, friendly & loves cuddles so would make someone a lovely pet.
Pom Pom would make a nice companion for another rabbit, he could be housed with a female rabbit as he is neutered so you wouldn’t end up with any unwanted babies! Or another neutered male. But he can’t be housed with a large breed rabbit.
For more information on Pom Pom please email, phone or pop in the shop.
