Giant African Land Snails

Latin name - Achatina Fulica
Giant African land snails are an excellent first unusual pet for any adult or child. They reach an average size of 7-8 inches & live for 5-6 years. The snails I currently have are about 5mm shell length & i have some larger ones at about 10cm shell length.

Fancy Mice

Latin name- Mus musculus
Fancy mice are really cute little pets that enjoy the company of other mice. I usually only sell the females as the males are abit smelly but males will be sold on request. These little rodents live for about 2 years & grow to about 14cm, They are very active & make great little pets. I currently have beige.


Chile Rose Tarantula

Latin name- Grammostola rosea
These tarantulas are a good beginner tarantula they are easy to handle & much less aggressive than most other species. They grow to an average size of 5 inches & depending on sex can live to around 15 years.
This female is very pink in colour, stunning.


Syrian Hamsters

Latin name- Mesocricetus auratus
Hamsters make a nice first pet as long at they are handled frequently from a young age. Syrian hamsters are the most commonly kept hamster they are larger than the dwarf hamsters so can be easier to handle. They should be housed on their own, as they don’t like living with other hamsters, and they grow to about 18cm in length & live for about 2 years.
I have one female left in at the moment which has been bred by a local breeder, she is brown in colour.


Fife Canaries

Latin name- Serinus canaria
Fife canaries are nice birds that are great to have indoors in a cage or outdoors in an aviary, they are social & so usually get on with other birds in a mixed aviary well.
These canaries are 2009 & 2010 birds hatched by a local breeder.
I currently have yellow variegated, clear, & buff & blue.
Canaries are difficult to sex but i have had the breeder do it for me so we are as close as we can be with them, if you buy one & they turn out to be a different sex to what we thought we will gladly take the healthy bird back & refund your money or swap for another.


Hatchling Carolina Corn Snakes

Latin name - (Elaphe guttata)
Corn snakes are a good beginners snake; they are relatively small rarely exceeding 5ft in length. They are docile snakes with a nice temperament & can live for about 15-20 years. Carolina corns have a coloration of deep red, orange, cream & brown.
These babies were hatched by Little Beasties.


Hatchling Snow Corn Snakes

Latin name - (Elaphe guttata)
Corn snakes are a good beginners snake; they are relatively small rarely exceeding 5ft in length. They are docile snakes with a nice temperament & can live for about 15-20 years. Snow corns have a colouration of cream, yellow & white they are this colour as they lack the ability to produce black & red pigment.


Hermanns Tortoises

Latin name - Testudo hermanni
Hermanns tortoises are one of the most commonly kept tortoises in captivity.
All our hermanns tortoises come with the correct paperwork as they now must have a certificate to prove they are captive bred.
They are currently about 2 inches shell length & were hatched in 2009. These tortoises grow between 8-10 inches & can live for 100 years or more! So when thinking of buying a tortoise please take this into consideration.
We provide excellent advice on keeping tortoises so please feel free to contact us as many times as you like before buying one of these lifelong pets!


Zebra Finches

Latin name- Taeniopygia guttata
Zebra Finches are small, quiet & the most commonly kept finch, they can be housed indoors as a pet or outside in an aviary. They are a social bird that can be easily housed with other finches & small birds such as budgies.
I currently have cocks & hens in faun & grey.


Guinea Pigs

Latin name- Cavia porcellus
Guinea pigs are sociable animals that like to live in pairs or groups. They live for about 5-7 years & are friendly pets that are good with children. They have a distinctive squeak that they do when they are happy, chatting to each other & waiting to be fed. Guinea pigs really do make great pets!
I currently have 4 smooth coated males.


Male Chinese Water Dragon

Latin name – Physignathus concinnus
Male water dragons reach an adult length of about 3ft but this is including the tail which is a large proportion of their overall length. Water dragons live for about 10-15 years.
Their coloration is mainly green, ranging from dark to light but they also have turquoise, yellow, orange & brown on their throat, belly & tail. Water dragons are really attractive but they are also very active needing a very large vivarium to accommodate their needs, which should include water pool, lots of things to climb on & plenty of greenery.
Male is friendly & tame.


Baby Leopard Geckos

Latin name- Eublepharis macularius
Leopard geckos are a good beginners lizard, they grow to around 8 inches in length and can live for 10-15 years. They make great pets if handled at a young age and are a very popular choice with children around the age of 10. When they are babies they are striped with yellow & black but as they get older the black stripes split up & turn into spots hence the name "leopard" gecko!


Baby Budgies

Latin name- Melopsittacus undulates
Budgies are a good beginner’s bird, they can be housed indoors or outdoors. We cater for beginners, hobbyists & breeders, there are always many colours available.
These birds are straight out of the nest so will be very easy to tame.


African Silverbills

Latin name – Lonchura malabarica
Silverbills are a medium sized finch reaching an adult size of 4 inches & living for about 5 years.
They are a sandy brown colour with dark markings on their head, wings & tail. They have silverbills, hence their name.
They are a social finch so can be housed in a cage or aviary with other small birds.
They are good breeders & will nest easily.
These are 2010 birds.


Chinese Dwarf Hamsters

Latin name- Cricetus griseus
These hamsters have a longer tail than most other hamsters though it’s only small about 2.5cm long. These hamsters are sociable so can be kept in pairs or on their own. They grow between 10-12cm long & live for about 2 years. Cute little guys that are easy to handle.
I have 4 females in at the moment.


Anathrystic Corn Snake 2010 Hatch

Latin name - (Elaphe guttata)
Corn snakes are a good beginners snake; they are relatively small rarely exceeding 5ft in length. They are docile snakes with a nice temperament & can live for about 15-20 years. Anatherystic corns have a coloration of black & shades of grey.


Striped Corn Snake 2009 Hatch

Latin name - (Elaphe guttata)
Corn snakes are a good beginners snake; they are relatively small rarely exceeding 5ft in length. They are docile snakes with a nice temperament & can live for about 15-20 years. Striped corn snakes are coloured orange with longitudinal dorsal stripes instead of blotchy pattening. A good beginners snake!


2010 Male Gouldian Finch

Latin name - (Poephila gouldiae)
The gouldian finch has the nicest colouration of all the finches, with colours including red, black, blue, yellow, turquoise, green, orange & purple.
Gouldian finches reach a size of about 4.5 inches & live for on average 6 years.
Gouldians should be kept on their own as they can be aggressive towards other birds & they are sensitive to the cold so if housed in an outdoor aviary they must be provided with a heater.
This is a 2010 bird & is a male.


2010 Cockatiel

Latin name – Nymphicus hollandicus
Cockatiels can be kept in the house or in an aviary. Young birds can be tamed easily to make nice friendly pets. They can be taught whistles, noises & tunes but rarely talk although they can pick up some words. Cockatiels can be quite noisy birds.
They reach a size of 12 inches from head to tail & live for about 18 years.
I currently have one grey bird bred by a local breeder.
