Rankins X Bearded Dragon Babies

Rankins dragons are a dwarf species of bearded dragons reaching around 10 inches in length. They have a lifespan of 10-15 years but have been know to live longer. Rankins dragons are very friendly lizards like beardies, & males are also known for being less aggressive towards other males when housed together unlike the bearded dragon.

2 Year Old Albino Dot Dash Californian King Snake
Latin name - Lampropeltis g. californiae
King Snakes are a relatively small snake rarely exceeding 5ft in length & usually reaching a diameter of 1.5 –2 inch. King snakes live for around 10-15 years but have been known to live longer.
This snake is about 2ft long & is 2 years old, it’s a nice snake with great markings but is tempermental so is not a beginners snake.

Plecostomus (Algae Eaters)
Latin name - Hypostomus plecostomus
The Plecostomus Catfish is a aquarium favorite with many. The main attraction of this fish is its ability to keep the aquarium free of algae. It accomplishes this by sucking at the aquarium glass or decorations with its strong, under-turned mouth. This fish though usually found in tropical setups can live in coldwater with normal goldfish when introduced correctly.

Bibrons Geckos
Latin name – Pachydactylus bibroni
Bibrons geckos are an arboreal species meaning they spend most of their time on branches, plants & the side of their enclosure. They are easy to care for & setup but they are not suited as a handling pet due to their skin being very delicate but they are good to watch. They will grow to an average size of 7 inches in length so are a relatively good size. Their sticky feet enable them to climb anywhere so keeping them in an all glass tank means you will get the most out of your gecko.

Emperor Scorpions
Latin name - Pandinus imperator
The Emperor Scorpion is a very large, impressive, and hardy scorpion from tropical Africa that can grow to 6 inches in length. This scorpion is able to be handled though I do not recommend handling for the nervous as in a panic you could get stung or injure the scorpion.

Albino Black Russian Rat Snake
Latin name - Elaphe obsoleta obsolete
This rat snake is just over 3ft in length but will grow to 5ft or maybe even 6ft long, they are a heavy bodied snake that will reach about 2in in diameter. This rat snake is between 5 & 6 years old.
This snake used to be twitchy when it was handled, but has settled down well
! This is an attractive snake which is different from your ordinary ratsnake.

Guinea Pigs
Latin name- Cavia porcellus
Guinea pigs are sociable animals that like to live in pairs or groups. They live for about 5-7 years & are friendly pets that are good with children. They have a distinctive squeak that they do when they are happy, chatting to each other & waiting to be fed. There are many colours & hair types available. I currently have smooth coated males in the shop.

Baby Cockatiels
Latin name- Nymphicus hollandicus
Cockatiels are a great bird to own as a pet, you can teach them to talk, whistle & do tricks! These babies are only 12 weeks old & can be easily tamed.
I currently have greys, pearls & lutinos in stock.
Alternativly you can keep them in a outdoor avairy as these birds were avairy bred.
Very nice birds bred by a local breeder!
One has learned to wolf whistle already!

African Flat Rock Scorpion
Latin name - Hadogenes troglodytes
The flat rock scorpion is the longest scorpion in the world & is a great species for beginners & advanced exotic keepers. Flat rocks will almost never sting their handler but have been known to pinch. Male flat rocks can grow to 8 inches in length with the tail included & can live for 20 years, much longer than most other species of scorpion.
I currently have babies that have just had their 2nd molt & they are about 2cm in length with their tails. They are easy handle to care for.

Spotted Python
Spotted Pythons usually reach an adult size of 3ft in length & can live for over 12 years. This python is about 2 years old & about 2.5ft long. Its a flighty snake but will tame with regular handling & is apsolutly stunning! The markings on the python make it look as though petrol has been spilt across its skin. A must see!

Dwarf Lop Rabbits
Latin name- Oryctolagus cuniculus
Dwarf lop rabbits when sat are approx 12 inches from the nose to the hind legs when fully grown, they have really nice temperaments & are easy to handle. Females can be kept together but males must be kept separately. They live for about 5-8 years.
I have one male left who was bred by a local breeder, he is all light brown, really cute & tame.

Hairless rats are a nice pet that are interactive with other rats & people, they are a good pet for older children who have previously kept smaller rodents & are an excellent pet for asthma sufferers. They live for about 2-5 years & grow to around 11 inches with the tail. In fact they are just like fancy rats but hairless! I have 2 females in at the moment.

"Blue" Whites Tree Frog
Latin name - Littoria caerulea
For a begginner this is the best species of tree frog to start off with, or if you already keep them this will make a nice addition to any collection.
They are easy to keep & look great!
The whites tree frog grows to 4 inches & can live for over 10 years in captivity. They range in colour from green, blue, turquoise & brown.
This frog is only 5cm big at the moment & is blue.

Baby Royal Pythons

Royal pythons are a chunky snake reaching between 3 & 5 Ft in length & about 4 inches in diameter when fully grown. Royals can live for about 15-25 years. These babies are currently feeding well on defrost food but are assist feeders so are not always suited as a beginners reptile. Royals have great temperaments & tend to be very laid back snakes.

Hamsters make a nice first pet as long at they are handled frequently from a young age. Syrian hamsters are the most commonly kept hamster they are larger than the dwarf hamsters so can be easier to handle. They should be housed on their own, as they don’t like living with other hamsters, and they grow to about 18cm in length & live for about 2 years.

These hamsters have a longer tail than most other hamsters though it’s only small about 2.5cm long. These hamsters are sociable so can be kept in pairs or on their own. They grow between 10-12cm long & live for about 2 years.
I have grey & white females which are nice & tame.

Juvenile Female Leopard Geckos
Latin name- Eublepharis macularius
Leopard geckos are a good beginners lizard, they grow to around 8 inches in length and can live for 10-15 years. They make great pets if handled at a young age and are a very popular choice with children around the age of 10. When they are babies they are striped with yellow & black but as they get older the black stripes split up & turn into spots hence the name "leopard" gecko!
I have 2 females who have started to develop their spots.

Pygmy Leaf Chameleons

Pygmy leaf chameleons grow no bigger than 3 inches in length & live for about 6 years. As the name suggests they impersonate leaves to help keep them safe from predators. These little fellas are so cute & not that difficult to look after or as expensive as some chameleons to set up. They can live together or separate & make a nice addition to any home.

They get their name from the fluffy hair around their necks which resembles a lions mane. Females can be kept together but males must be kept separately.

Desert Horned Lizards
Latin name – (Phrynosoma platyrhino)
Desert horned lizards range in size from 3 – 5 inches in length & live for about 6 - 8 years.
This lizard is coloured a grey & beige mixture which blends in well with their sandy surroundings. They have horned spikes on their head, back & sides.
These lizards are great as they are easy to care for & don’t grow that big – a good alternative if you don’t have enough room to keep a bearded dragon.
Watch them chase waxworms & moths it will keep you entertained for ages!

Brown Anole
Latin name - Anolis sagrei
The brown anole is a commonly kept lizard around the world as they make a great beginners reptile, they are easy to care for, do not need huge enclosures & are inexpensive to buy. They are however fast so are a watching lizard not one you can handle.
They reach an adult size of about 8 inches & live for about 3 years.
These lizards are different shades of brown but when the males display they have bright pink beards!

Fancy mice are really cute little pets that enjoy the company of other mice. I usually only sell the females as the males are abit smelly but males will be sold on request. These little rodents live for about 2 years & grow to about 14cm, They are very active & make great little pets. These mice were bred by Little Beasties & they are black & white.
